Hyperlink Adventure
Introduction
Hyperlink Adventure is a website made by BSOD where you click links and images which can get you to diffrent websites. Basicly it is a pretty nice and intresting way to descover new websites.
History
The project started in June 17th 2023, and like many projects it looked very terrible. But as time progressed, more "sites" were added in the project like Hyperlink Heaven, 100,000 numbers of pi and more other sites. Also the aspect of the front page changed significantly from having a green background and multiple <div> colored diffrently to looking a bit better. I took the old Geocities website's front page as an example.
On Septermber 28th 2023, the program Microsoft Frontpage 2003 can into background after watching a video of Michael MJD he used a older version of it on a older system. It was very intresting and decided to update my site with the help of that program. It was difficult at the begining beacuse, obviously, it was the first time using it but slowly managed to understand how it worked.
On October 5th 2023 I launched the site on Neocities without knowing how the platform worked, and also didn't watched any tutorials.
Four days later, I accidentaly deleted the code from the index page and I had to get the code from an older version of the front page. In the end everything went well.
On October 28th 2023, again like last time, I accidentaly deleted the files on my PC with the index page, Black Mesa Job Application, and the about me page, it was a disstaster. But one day later the website managed to be seen by 1,000 viewers. Thank you for that!
On November 1st 2023 the Discord server has been released and 6 days later the site has reached 3k views.
Special Occasions
On the date of December 21st 2023, the site got a new look for the christmas season. This updated came along with a new page for sending letters to santa.
